Type Last Name and SSN

4. Type your DOB

5. Click the "START" Button

6. Select: Producer Licensing > Initial > Resident

WHEN BUYING NEW STATES: *** When you later go to BUY and add new states you will select "Producer Licensing > Add New Line of Authority > Non-Resident" ***

7. Select Resident State (State where you live)

If you live in Florida and took the state exam in Florida, then Select Florida.

 

8. Select "Health + Life and Variable Annuities"

WARNING TO FLORIDA RESISDENTS: Only select "variable life" for your Florida license. Other states you can only apply for Regular LIFE.

9. Proceed to Checkout

10. Fill in required info.

Commonly Asked Questions:

When it asks about FINRA - Click NO

When it asks for Address - Put YOUR address

When it asks for Alias and or Affiliation - Leave Blank

When it asks for employment history - Fill in last 5 years with no gaps

 

11. After submitted and Paid

Your all set! Now just wait for a confirmation email that your order went through. Typical waiting time for you to receive your NPN# back is 3-12 Business Days.

12. Check if your NPN is active HERE

You can check the status of your request on the NPN Lookup Website

Once you have an active NPN# you can start applying for HCMS onboarding and your carrier log ins.

In the meantime buy your required E/O Insurance (we all need this to sell and get onboarded with the carriers)
